Application Process

Ready to join the next generation of socioeconomic researchers? Our application process is designed to identify motivated students who are prepared to make meaningful contributions to research and their communities.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Current high school student (grades 9-12)

• Demonstrated interest in research, social sciences, or community impact

• Strong communication and leadership potential

• Commitment to program requirements and timeline

• Access to local high school network for chapter development

Complete our application including:

• Personal basic information 

• Paragraph responses about yourself

• Resume

2. Interview Process

Selected applicants will participate in a virtual interview with our Youth Research Fellowship leadership team. This conversation will help us understand:

• Your passion for research and community impact

• Your leadership style and collaborative abilities

• Your specific interests within socioeconomic research

• Your availability and commitment level

• The best role match based on your location and experience

3. Role Assignment

Following your interview, we'll work with you to determine the most appropriate leadership level.
